McPoyle Joins
the Board of the Bucks County Housing Group
Warrington, PA – January 2008
- KMRD Partners, Inc. has announced that
co-founder and Principal, Kevin M. McPoyle joined the Board of Directors
of Bucks County Housing Group (BCHS) earlier this year.
BCHS
has recently undergone some changes within the organization, which has enabled the
Board to play a more active role in the organization.
McPoyle is one of many volunteers who will help the Group complete their
mission, which is to provide a wide range of housing and related
social services to homeless and low-income families in Bucks County, while assisting
the families in attaining permanent housing and self-sufficiency.
“We live in a great community. But there
remains a tremendous need every day for food, shelter and support for families
in the community who need our help”, said McPoyle.
“Being on the Board and supporting the organization is a good way to
begin giving back to a place that has given me and my family the opportunities that
we have.”
In
addition to the Board, KMRD Partners supported the Gala
honoring the retiring founder Santo Gairo in November, as well as
supporting a
recently homeless family with Christmas gifts and support.
About
the Bucks County Housing Group
- Bucks County is an affluent county, but homelessness, poverty and hunger are very
real issues for many of our neighbors. Housing Group opened the first emergency
shelter for homeless families (typically moms with children) in Bucks County in
1980. Since that time we have expanded services to support clients through the challenges
they face as they work to transform their lives.
