Background and Responsibilities
Kevin uses his background in engineering, management and marketing to provide the agency's client
focused vision. Prior to founding KMRD, Kevin spent eleven years with a top 50 property &
casualty insurance consulting and brokerage firm where he utilized his background in engineering,
technical skills and attention to detail to establish a portfolio of clients in diverse industries
with worldwide footprints.
Kevin's background is also well-rounded. Following a successful military career, Kevin worked
for Air Products & Chemicals where he developed the criteria and processes that enabled them
to earn an ISO9001 certification. Later, he maintained a worldwide client base for sales of precision
equipment.
Kevin was featured in the Philadelphia Business Journal for his expertise in directors and officer's
liability coverage and has been engaged by professional associations such as the Real Estate Society
of Philadelphia and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants to educate professionals
on directors and officer's liability, terrorism and property coverage implications. He was
also featured in an insurance marketing/consulting book called The Prime Solution, authored
by the nationally renowned sales consultant, Jeff Thull.
Education
- BS in Engineering in 1982 from the United States Military Academy and subsequently served
the United States Army as a helicopter pilot
- Master's of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Marketing from Wilkes
University
- Certified Insurance Counselor designation from The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research
